Team Captain Information

The individual who creates or registers a Buddy or Team will be identified as the Team Captain.

Team members are those who have registered to walk with or have donated to the team.  These members will be named on the team home page.  Please note that donations entered on an individual’s team sponsor page will not be named as a team member.

Team Home Pages

Team Captains will have the option of creating a Team Home Page. Team Home Pages will include:

  • A personalized picture
  • A personalized paragraph
  • A team goal meter
  • A listing of team members
  • Access team member data from the previous Buddy Walk

Team Captain Abilities

Team Captains will be able to:

  • Edit team content (picture, paragraph, and goal)
  • Transfer team ownership
  • Invite team members via e-mail
  • E-mail team members

If you were previously a team captain, you will need to RE-register your team. Click on the above link and follow the prompts to re-register your team. Once your team is registered your home page will show the previous year’s information. You may update your picture, paragraph and goal in the “Manage My Team” section any time after registering.

Team Baskets 

Donate a team basket to be raffled off at the Buddy Walk.  The basket can be themed or not, big or small, unique or popular. Just drop off your basket – labeled with your team name – at the event site during set-up on Friday May 13th from 3pm-7pm or before 11am on Saturday May 13th. Raffle Ideas and Tag

T-shirt Sponsors

Teams can solicit local companies or businesses to become a T-shirt Sponsor and your team will get the credit to their team total. For $500 the company logo can appear on the back of the Buddy Walk Event T-shirts or for $250 the company name can be listed on the back below the logos.

T-shirt sponsors must submit their logo or name with payment, no later than April 12th.
