Southern DE Days of Summer Camp

The DSA of DE is excited to introduce a Southern DE Days of Summer Camp. The goal of the camp is to allow children with Down syndrome the opportunity to have the experiences of summer camp while practicing independence, developing physical and emotional health as well as increasing their confidence levels. We strive to maintain an atmosphere where children can build great peer relationships as well as have a fun experience at camp!

Camp is a fun day camp experience for children with Down syndrome ages 3-13 years and their siblings ages 3-10 years. Children are provided with the traditional camp experience with crafts, games, and many other exciting activities, at no cost to their families. Campers are not required to be potty trained.

This summer camp will be held Wednesday, June 21st, Thursday June 22nd and Friday June 23rd from 8:30 am- 3:30 pm at the Milford Moose Family Center in Milford, DE.

A certified nurse and teacher will be on site at all times and young adults aged 16-22 will serve as counselors. Counselors will receive at least 18 hours of documented community service for their time.
