Rock Your Socks
On Tuesday, March 21st 2017, the Down Syndrome Association of DE will be joining other schools and organizations around the world in celebrating WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY.
Please join our Facebook Group: Rock Your Socks- World Down Syndrome Day
Together we will create a single global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down syndrome in our school, community and around the world. 3/21, World Down Syndrome Day, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which leads to Down Syndrome.
The DSA of DE will again be supplying socks for your school or organization to distribute so that your group can show your support on 3/21. To order socks: please fill out the ORDER FORM (click here) before
2/01/17. EXTENDED to 2/15/2017. Socks will be distributed to your group’s representative at the end of February.
