What is the Stars Society?

The Stars Society is our new monthly giving program. Monthly giving allows us to sustain our programs throughout the year—from our summer camps, to our boxing classes, to our prenatal baskets for expecting parents. We have three stars in our logo—each representing a copy of chromosome 21 that individuals with Down syndrome have—but we can’t keep our stars shining without your support. Join our Stars Society to help us serve individuals with Down syndrome throughout the state and to ensure our stars keep burning bright! To make your donation monthly, switch your donation schedule to “monthly” on the donation form below. Questions about the Stars Society? Email sandra@dsadelaware.org.

Victoria Marsh Memorial Fund for Victoria’s Kitchen

Victoria’s Kitchen will change the lives of so many adults with Down syndrome who will intern in the space. The Victoria Marsh Memorial Fund will cover intern wages for the adults with Down syndrome and chef training to the DSA of DE for years to come.

Victoria was the type of person who naturally drew others to herself with her light and joy; she embraced challenges and lived her life to the fullest. Victoria and her family were very active members of the DSADE with her mother, Karen Marsh, serving as Board President for many years. Her father, Rob Marsh, was also an active walk committee member. Victoria was always present at events and loved attending programs such as the Days of Summer Camp, and most of all, cooking classes. Victoria had a strong passion of and love for cooking and food. In her memory, our kitchen will be known as Victoria’s Kitchen. We will cherish her memory as other teen and adults with Down syndrome learn cooking techniques and grow their interest in the culinary arts through this space. Victoria’s spirit will always be remembered. She is greatly missed.

Contribute to the Victoria Marsh Memorial Fund by using our Donate Form and entering the name of the fund in the “Comments” section.
