Help Shape the Future of the Down Syndrome Association of Delaware
The Down Syndrome Association of Delaware (DSA of DE) is excited to begin an important planning process that will guide our organization through the next three years.
We are partnering with consultant Pam Leland through the Accelerator Program with the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (DANA) to develop our 2026–2029 Strategic Plan. This plan will serve as a roadmap for how we grow, strengthen programs, and best support our community in the years ahead.
What Is a Strategic Plan?
A strategic plan helps set priorities and direction for our organization. It outlines our goals, identifies opportunities for growth, and ensures that our programs, services, and resources align with our mission:
“The Down Syndrome Association of Delaware supports families, promotes community involvement, and encourages a lifetime of opportunities for people with Down syndrome.”
This plan will guide decisions about programming, advocacy, partnerships, and resources over the next three years — and your voice is an important part of shaping it.
We Want to Hear From You
We are hosting a series of focus groups to gather feedback from the people who know our community best. We welcome participation from:
- Individuals with Down syndrome
- Family members and caregivers
- Community partners and professionals
- Volunteers, donors, and supporters
- Anyone with a connected and vested interest in our mission
Your insights will help ensure our strategic plan reflects the real needs, hopes, and priorities of our community.
Join a Focus Group
We are offering focus groups on a variety of dates and times to fit different schedules. Each focus group session is 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. Please register for one of the sessions below:
