Caregivers of individuals with Down syndrome are invited to this monthly meetup. Childcare and pizza are provided. This month, we’ll be discussing the topic of behaviors in Wilmington.

Mixed Media Art Class (Middletown)

Individuals with Down syndrome ages 15+ are invited to our next Mixed Media Art Class. This class is designed for success for all levels of ability. Our class atmosphere is upbeat and fun, encouraging socialization, creativity, and self-expression!

Individuals with Down syndrome ages 12 and under and their siblings and families are invited to our Old-Fashioned Spring Carnival in Rehoboth. We’ll have games, prizes, snacks, face painting, and a balloon artist—fun for the whole family!

Family Portrait Mini-Sessions
Multiple dates and locations
Families with individuals with Down syndrome are invited to join us to take beautiful family portraits. You’ll be paired with a photographer for a 20-minute session. This event is free of charge, though we do require a refundable deposit.
Bruster’s Middletown Meet-Up

Our Teen/Adult Cooking Classes are on summer break… so we are hosting a casual ice cream meet-up in its place! This is open to all DSADE families and volunteers. Everyone will pay for their own ice cream.

Days of Summer Camp: Sussex County
June 22-26, 2026
Days of Summer Camp is a fun day camp experience for children with Down syndrome ages 3-13 and their siblings ages 3-10. Children are provided with the traditional camp experience with crafts, games, and many other exciting activities at no cost to their families.
